The love of Real Estate began for Shelyn in Nags Head, NC in 1977 when she obtained her first home. She began investing in land and has continued to do so since her move to Myrtle Beach in 1979.

Real Estate runs in Shelyn’s side of the family, as her great-grandfather was a developer in Miami, Florida.She has two other daughters: Jennifer, who lives in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and Rita, who lives in New York City. She is married to Gregg Lee, born and raised in Myrtle Beach, and their families are owners of Chestnut Hill, Chesapeake House, and Lee’s Inlet Kitchen restaurants, respectively.
